Dining and Accommodations Restaurant meals vary from standards to gourmet presentations in the Bitterroot Valley and Missoula. National motel chains and scenic lodges are both of avail. Night life attire is informal.

Learn Fly Fishing in One DayBitterroot Anglers now offers the opportunity to learn all about our sport in just one day. A typical day begins at 8 am and ends at 5 pm. Participants will learn basic casting and various technical skills including entomology, knot tying, hooking and landing the trout, reading the waters and the best way to present the fly. You will have the opportunity to practice all that you have learned during the course of the day in the closing four hours.

The cost is $550.00 for two. Factor in an additional $75.00 for each additional person.Reservations and CancellationsA $150.00 deposit per boat day is required to reserve all trips. In order to reserve Andy Carlson as your guide, a $200.00 per boat day deposit is required. This is fully refundable up to 48 hours before your trip at which point we reserve the right to be unable to refund your deposit. Bitterroot Anglers makes preparations for all trips and most probably will not be able to re-book if you cancel, hence are denied a days fees.

We also reserve the right to cancel or reschedule your trip due to foul weather, water conditions, or other factors beyond our control. Should we cancel your trip, your deposit will be refunded or applied to another trip.
